Nebraska's Onsite Wastewater Treatment professional certification programme certifies people, not companies, and a business appears on the state list because it employs at least one certified professional. The certification that allows pumping a tank is Pumper, and every business here holds it.

Pumper is not Pump Installation. Nebraska certifies both, and they share a word but not a meaning — Pump Installation is water-well pump work, not tank pumping. This directory matches the certification list on whole entries, never on the word “pump”, so a well driller does not appear here as a septic pumper. 112 of the 342 businesses on the state list hold the Pumper certification, and 78 of the 105 published here are certified installers as well.
